Our showroom is approximately 24 miles from South Euclid, about a 30 minutes drive depending on traffic and your starting point.
Most people leave South Euclid on Green Road or Warrensville Center Road and pick up I-271 south. From there it is I-480 west across the south side of the county, then out to Fairview Park and west on Lorain Road to number 19389.
If the belt is slow, the northern run works too: Cedar Road or Mayfield Road west through Cleveland Heights, down to I-90 west past downtown, then out to West Park and straight along Lorain Road into Fairview Park. Lorain runs the whole way, so it is hard to lose.
The roads you will use from South Euclid: Mayfield Road, Cedar Road, Warrensville Center Road, Green Road, South Green Road, Belvoir Boulevard, Monticello Boulevard and Anderson Road on the local end.
Then the highway leg on I-271, I-480 or I-90, and finally Lorain Road through Fairview Park. Our building sits on Lorain Road itself, so once you are on it you are on the last stretch.
Coming out of South Euclid you will pass the Cedar Center corner at Cedar and Warrensville Center, and the former Notre Dame College campus on South Green Road if you head that direction first.
On the northern route the downtown skyline sits on your left as I-90 swings west. After that it is West Park, then Fairview Park, and Lorain Road takes you the rest of the way in.
Estimated travel time may vary based on traffic and your starting point.
South Euclid houses are solid brick and frame homes on fairly tight lots, and the kitchen almost always sits at the back corner. There is one window over the sink, a back door, and a basement stairwell opening straight into the workspace. That leaves very little uninterrupted wall to build against.
Homes off Belvoir Boulevard and Monticello Boulevard, and on the streets between Cedar Road and Mayfield Road, tend to share the same shape. The dining room is separate and formal, the kitchen is small, and there is nowhere for people to stand while someone is cooking.
Storage is the other constant. The original cabinets are shallow, the upper run stops well short of the ceiling, and one dead corner swallows every pan in the house. Most of the real gain in a South Euclid kitchen comes from fixing storage before anyone talks about finishes.
The first question is nearly always the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. Opening it, fully or partly, changes how the whole floor feels without adding a foot to the house. We check what is inside that wall before anyone promises anything.
Next is the working layout. The basement door and the back door often need to move or swing the other way, so the sink, range and refrigerator stop competing for the same three feet of floor.
Then storage gets rebuilt properly. Deep drawers instead of low shelves, uppers carried to the ceiling, a pantry cabinet that holds a proper load of groceries, and a corner unit that gives its space back. Islands suit some South Euclid kitchens and not others, and we will tell you plainly which one you have.
Resale is worth a thought too. Kitchens and bathrooms are what buyers on this side of Cuyahoga County walk straight to, so we keep the finishes ones that will still read well later.
Start with photos and measurements. Bring both to the showroom and a designer can work with the room you have rather than a description of it.
Anything that moves plumbing or electrical needs a permit from the city. We deal with that paperwork as part of the job, so it is not something you chase on your own.
Plan for the kitchen being out of use while the work runs. Most South Euclid homes have a basement with a laundry sink and room for a temporary fridge and microwave, and that is usually enough to get through it.
Settle the cabinets and the countertop material early. Those two set the schedule. Hardware, backsplash and lighting can all follow once they are locked in.

Yes. Most of our South Euclid work is in homes where the walls are not square and the kitchen is closed off at the back. We measure on site and build the cabinets to the room as it actually is.
Often yes, but it depends what is inside that wall. A designer will look at your photos and measurements first, and we confirm on site before any of it is promised.
Our own crew. The same team designs the kitchen, supplies the cabinets and countertops, and fits them, so nothing sits waiting on an outside installer.
Photos of the kitchen from a few angles, rough measurements of the room, and any idea of the style you like. That is enough to start a real layout at the table.
