Throwback to when our team met the Scott Brothers! We didn't get an HGTV show, but we can still build you a celebrity level kitchen. Call us today.
Our Cleveland showroom is a working design studio with cabinets, door samples and countertop slabs out on the floor. Elyria homeowners drive in, sit down at the table with a designer, and go through the layout of their own kitchen. You open drawers, feel the finishes, and see how a door reads in daylight instead of on a screen. The same team that draws the plan handles the materials and sends the crew that installs them.
Recent kitchens from Northeast Ohio homes, including layouts much like the ones we walk into around Elyria.

These six styles sit on the floor at our Cleveland showroom, so you see the real finish before you choose.
We template, fabricate and install countertops for Elyria kitchens and baths, cut to the cabinets we set.

Quartz gives a consistent pattern and a non porous surface with no sealing. A steady choice for lighter Elyria kitchens.

Quartzite reads like natural stone and wears harder than marble. Elyria homeowners pick it when the island is the centerpiece.

Six services for Elyria homes, all run by one team from the first drawing to the last cabinet door.
Cleveland Cabinets remodels Elyria kitchens end to end, and we start with the layout rather than the cabinet list. Walls, cabinets, countertops, lighting and the install crew are all handled by our team.
We remodel bathrooms across Elyria, covering vanities, storage, tile and fixtures. The tight upstairs baths in the older streets are the ones we get asked about most, and they usually need the storage rethought first.
If your Elyria kitchen layout already works, we supply and install new cabinets without pulling the room apart. Our own installers set, level and finish every run, including the trim and the toe kicks.
We template Elyria countertops on site, then fabricate and install granite, quartz or quartzite. Sink cutouts, edge profiles and seam placement are decided before anything is cut.
Laundry in Elyria homes is often a basement corner or a narrow hallway closet. We fit cabinets, a folding surface and hanging space into the room you actually have, not the one in the brochure.
Most Elyria families come in through the side or back door, so that spot takes all the winter salt and boots. We build in a bench, hooks, cubbies and closed storage to keep it off the floor.

Our showroom is approximately 19 miles from Elyria, about a 25 minutes drive depending on traffic and your starting point.
Estimated travel time may vary based on traffic and your starting point.
Elyria housing is mixed, and the kitchen tells you which part of town you are standing in. On the streets around Ely Square and along West River Road, the kitchen was built as a closed service room at the back of the house. One door, one window, and a footprint that often stops near 100 square feet.
Move out toward Route 57 and the newer streets and the problem flips. Those kitchens are wider and open to a family room, but the cabinet run is short and the island is either missing or too small to actually work at.
Both versions arrive at our showroom for the same reason. There is nowhere to put anything. The upper cabinets stop a foot short of the ceiling, the corner cabinet swallows whatever goes into it, and the pantry is a coat closet with shelves screwed inside.
Storage is also why so many Elyria remodels start with a measurement rather than a mood board. Once you know what has to fit, the layout gets a lot easier to argue about.
The first is usually a wall. In the older Elyria homes, taking down the partition between the kitchen and the dining room does more for the room than any cabinet upgrade. It gives you a second work side and lets light from the front of the house reach the sink.
The second is vertical space. Cabinets that run to the ceiling add a full shelf per run without costing a single inch of floor. Deep drawers replace base cabinets with doors, so you stop kneeling on the tile to find a pot.
The third is the traffic line. Most Elyria kitchens have people cutting through them to reach the back door or the basement stairs. The layout has to keep that path clear of the oven door and the dishwasher door, or the room fights you every single day.
On resale, buyers looking in Elyria are usually comparing houses of a similar age and size. The kitchen is often the room that separates two otherwise similar listings, which is worth knowing before you decide how far to take a project.
Permits go through the City of Elyria building department. Anything structural, electrical or plumbing needs one, and that includes moving a sink or opening a wall. We prepare the drawings the department asks for, and you confirm current requirements with the city before you set a start date.
Plan a temporary kitchen somewhere else in the house. Most Elyria homes have a basement or a garage that will take a folding table, the microwave and the coffee maker. Setting that up before demolition day is the difference between an inconvenient project and a miserable one.
Measure the path in. Older Elyria homes with a tight side door and a turn at the bottom of the stairs limit how big a single cabinet or a stone slab can be. We check that during the site visit so nothing gets discovered on install day.
Bring photos and a rough number to your first appointment. It is much faster to react to a real kitchen and a real budget than to start from a blank page.
About 19 miles, roughly a 25 minute drive on I-90 East. We are at 19389 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126, open Monday to Wednesday 12:00 to 6:00 pm and Thursday 12:00 to 8:00 pm.
Yes. Those kitchens are usually closed off and short on storage, and they often need a wall opened before anything else makes sense. We measure the existing framing and plan around what can and cannot move.
Usually yes, once you touch plumbing, electrical or structure. Permits go through the City of Elyria building department. We prepare the drawings and you confirm the current requirements with the city.
Yes. If your Elyria kitchen layout already works, we can supply and install new cabinets and leave the rest of the room alone.
Yes, as long as the cabinets are sound and level. We template on site, then fabricate and install granite, quartz or quartzite.
Photos of your kitchen, rough measurements if you have them, and a sense of what you want to spend. That is enough for a designer to start a real layout with you.
