About Cleveland Cabinets

Maple Heights Kitchens, Planned in Person

Our Cleveland showroom is a working cabinet store as well as a design studio, so the doors, finishes and countertop edges you are choosing between are all sitting in front of you. Walk in from Maple Heights and a designer sits down with you at the table and works through the layout of your actual room. Most Maple Heights kitchens are boxed in by a back door on one wall and the basement stairs on another, so the first conversation is usually about where the storage can move. You leave with a plan, not a brochure.

Our Services

Our Remodeling Services for Maple Heights

Six services for Maple Heights homes, all designed and installed by the same team.

Kitchen Remodeling

We handle full kitchen remodeling for Maple Heights homes, from the first layout drawing to the final install. That covers cabinets, countertops, lighting and the crew that fits them, all managed by one team.

Bathroom Remodeling

We remodel bathrooms across Maple Heights, main baths and the small half baths tucked under a stairway. Vanities, storage, tops and fixtures get planned together so the finished room is easier to keep clean.

Cabinet Installation

If your Maple Heights kitchen only needs new cabinets, we supply and install them without pulling apart the rest of the room. We measure the existing space, adjust the layout where it helps, and fit everything level and square.

Countertop Installation

We template, fabricate and install countertops for Maple Heights kitchens and bathrooms. That includes the sink cutout, the edge profile and where the seams land, so the finished top fits the room you actually have.

Laundry Room Cabinets

Laundry rooms in Maple Heights are usually in the basement or squeezed in beside the kitchen. We build in cabinets, a folding surface and a spot for detergent so the room stops collecting piles.

Mudroom and Entryway

Most Maple Heights homes get used through the side or back door, and that spot takes the beating. We fit benches, hooks and closed storage so coats, boots and bags have somewhere to go.

Kitchen remodeling in Maple Heights

The kitchens we walk into in Maple Heights

Most Maple Heights houses were built with the kitchen as a working room, not a room anyone sits in. It is usually closed off from the dining room, with a back door on one wall and the basement stairs on another.

That leaves two short runs of counter and a doorway on nearly every side. There is rarely a spot to set a hot pan down beside the range, and the refrigerator often sits where it blocks the walkway.

The blocks off Libby Road, Turney Road and Warrensville Center Road repeat a small number of floor plans, so kitchens on the same street tend to have the same three problems. That is useful. We have usually solved them a few doors down already.

We measure the room as it stands before anyone talks about door styles. Where the plumbing sits and where the stair has to stay decides most of the plan.

What we change in a Maple Heights kitchen

The changes that make the biggest difference

The single biggest change is usually the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. Opening it, fully or part way, gives back the run of counter the room never had and makes the floor feel bigger without an addition.

Storage comes second. Deep base cabinets get pull outs so the back half is reachable. The narrow cabinet next to the range becomes a spice and utensil pull out. Wall cabinets go taller to use the empty band of wall above them, which in a small Maple Heights kitchen is often a full extra shelf all the way round.

Resale is worth naming plainly. Buyers looking in Maple Heights see a lot of untouched kitchens, so a room with real counter space, working storage and a clean install stands out fast on the street.

Bathrooms usually follow. Once the kitchen is done, the vanity and the storage in the main bath tend to be the next call we get.

Planning a kitchen project in Maple Heights

What to sort out before the work starts

Start with measurements and a budget range, not with a door style. The door is the easy part and it is the last thing that moves the number.

Work that touches plumbing, electrical or structure needs a permit and inspections through the Maple Heights building department. We deal with that paperwork so it does not land on you.

Plan for the kitchen being out of use while the work runs. Most families set up a temporary sink and microwave in the basement or the dining room, and it is worth doing that the week before demolition rather than the morning of it.

Bring rough dimensions and a phone photo of each wall to the first visit. It lets a designer get to real options in one sitting instead of two.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is your showroom from Maple Heights?

About 20 miles, roughly a 25 minute drive on I-480 West depending on traffic. The showroom is at 19389 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126, open Monday to Wednesday 12 to 6 pm and Thursday 12 to 8 pm.

Can you open the wall between kitchen and dining room?

Often yes, and in Maple Heights homes it is the change that opens the room up the most. Whether it opens fully depends on whether the wall is carrying load and what is running inside it, so we check that before we design around it.

Do you work on small Maple Heights kitchens?

Yes. A lot of the kitchens we design in Maple Heights are closed rooms with two short counter runs and a back door in the middle of the wall. Small rooms are where good layout work pays off most.

Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel?

If the job touches plumbing, electrical or structure, Maple Heights requires a permit and inspections. We handle the applications and schedule the inspections as part of the project.

Can you install cabinets without a full remodel?

Yes. If the layout works and you only want new cabinets, we supply and install them and leave the rest of the room alone. We still measure the space properly first so the new run fits square.

What should I bring to the first showroom visit?

Rough measurements of the room, a photo of each wall, and any idea of the budget range you are working to. That is enough for a designer to talk through real options with you in the first sitting.
