Our Services

Our Remodeling Services for Seven Hills

Six services for Seven Hills homes, all handled by one Cleveland Cabinets team from the first drawing to the final install.

Kitchen Remodeling

We handle full kitchen remodeling for Seven Hills homes, from the first layout to the final install. That covers cabinets, countertops, lighting and the crew that fits them. One team runs the job start to finish.

Bathroom Remodeling

Cleveland Cabinets remodels bathrooms across Seven Hills, including the small hall bath most split levels have. We replace vanities, tops, storage and finishes, and we work with the plumbing you already have where that makes sense.

Cabinet Installation

If your Seven Hills kitchen only needs new cabinets, we supply and install them on their own. Our crew handles the tear out, the level and shim work older walls always need, and the trim that makes the run look built in.

Countertop Installation

We template, fabricate and install countertops for Seven Hills kitchens and bathrooms. That includes the seam plan, the sink cutout and the edge profile you pick out at the showroom.

Laundry Room Cabinets

Plenty of Seven Hills laundry rooms sit in the basement or just off the kitchen with nowhere to fold. We build in cabinets, a counter across the machines, and closed storage for detergent and coats.

Mudroom and Entryway

Most Seven Hills homes are entered through the side door from the driveway. We turn that landing into a mudroom with hooks, a bench and closed cabinets, so the mess stops at the door.

Get Directions from Seven Hills
Main Driving Route

From most of Seven Hills, take Broadview Road or East Pleasant Valley Road north to I-480 West. Stay on I-480 west past Parma, Middleburg Heights and the airport stretch, then cross I-71 and keep going.

Exit at Clague Road, head north to Lorain Road, and turn right. The showroom is at 19389 Lorain Rd. You can also stay on I-480 to where it becomes State Route 10, Lorain Road, and follow that northeast through North Olmsted into Fairview Park.

Major Roads and Intersections

Inside Seven Hills the drive starts on Broadview Road or East Pleasant Valley Road. Hillside Road and Crossview Road feed into Broadview for anyone coming from the southern streets.

I-480 carries the length of the trip. Clague Road and Lorain Road handle the last couple of miles at the Fairview Park end. Drivers on the east side of Seven Hills sometimes take Rockside Road to I-77 first, then pick up I-480 westbound from there.

Landmarks Along the Way

You pass the Parma and Middleburg Heights stretch of I-480, then the Cleveland Hopkins airport traffic around the Grayton Road and Engle Road exits.

After the I-71 interchange, the Great Northern Boulevard signs in North Olmsted mean you are close. Once you are on Lorain Road, keep heading east and watch for the Cleveland Cabinets sign at 19389.

Kitchen remodeling in Seven Hills

The kitchens we keep seeing in Seven Hills

Seven Hills was built on hills, and the floor plans follow. Ranches and split levels here usually put the kitchen at the back of the house with a wall between it and the dining room, and a second wall closing off the family room. The result is a working kitchen that feels smaller than the square footage says it should.

The other pattern is the side door. Most Seven Hills driveways run to a side entrance that opens into the kitchen or onto a half landing, so groceries, coats, mail and shoes all land on the same stretch of counter. Any layout we draw has to solve that traffic before it solves anything else.

Soffits are common too. A boxed soffit above the wall cabinets takes eight to twelve inches of usable height out of the room, and it is the first thing we look at when a homeowner tells us storage is tight.

What we change in a Seven Hills kitchen

The changes that move the needle

Opening the wall between the kitchen and the dining room is the single most requested change on Seven Hills jobs. It rarely adds square footage. What it adds is a run of counter long enough for an island or a peninsula, and a sightline to the rest of the house.

Taking the cabinets to the ceiling comes second. Once a soffit is out, the uppers run full height and the top row becomes real storage for the things that had been living on the counter.

Inside the boxes we swap fixed shelves for pull outs, add deep drawers for pots, and put a tall pantry cabinet where the old broom closet was. Corner cabinets get a proper mechanism instead of a shelf you have to climb into.

On resale, a Seven Hills kitchen is competing with other homes on the same street carrying the same original layout. The kitchen is usually what separates them.

Planning a kitchen project in Seven Hills

What to sort out before the work starts

Seven Hills has its own building department, so permits and inspections are handled by the city. If your project moves plumbing, adds circuits or takes out a wall, plan for that step and tell us early so it is part of the schedule rather than a surprise.

Think about where you will cook. Kitchens come apart before they go back together, and most Seven Hills homes have a basement or a garage that can hold a fridge, a microwave and a folding table for the duration.

Bring measurements. A rough sketch with wall lengths, window positions and ceiling height is enough to start a real layout at the showroom, and it saves you a second trip.

Last, decide what is staying. Some Seven Hills kitchens need cabinets and countertops and nothing else. Others need the flooring, the lighting and the wall to move. Knowing which one you have keeps the plan honest.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is your showroom from Seven Hills?

About 16 miles, roughly a 25 minute drive depending on traffic and where in the city you start. Most Seven Hills homeowners take Broadview Road or East Pleasant Valley Road to I-480 West, come off near Clague Road, then head east on Lorain Road. The address is 19389 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126.

Do you remodel split level kitchens in Seven Hills?

Yes. Split levels are common in Seven Hills and they bring their own problems: a short wall run, a side door landing right in the kitchen, and stairs eating into the floor plan. We design around those instead of pretending they are not there.

Can you open the wall between kitchen and dining room?

Often yes, and it is the change Seven Hills homeowners ask about most. Whether the wall carries load decides how it gets done. We settle that at the design stage, so the plan you approve is the plan that gets built.

Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?

You can stop by during showroom hours, Monday to Wednesday 12 to 6 pm and Thursday 12 to 8 pm. Calling (216) 353-8600 first means a designer is free when you walk in, which is worth doing if you are driving up from Seven Hills.

Do you install countertops as well as cabinets?

Yes. We template, fabricate and install granite, quartz and quartzite for Seven Hills kitchens and bathrooms. Cabinets and countertops are handled by the same team, so the schedule and the fit are managed in one place.

What should I bring to my first design visit?

Photos of your current kitchen, rough wall measurements, and any inspiration images you have saved. If you already know what is staying and what is going, bring that too. It is enough to leave with a real layout for your Seven Hills home.
