Our Cleveland showroom is a working cabinet store and a design studio in one room. Drive over from Sheffield Lake and you can open real doors, run a hand along the finishes and look at countertop slabs under normal light instead of guessing from a phone screen. Then you sit down at the table with a designer and work through your layout, your storage problems and what the room has to do every day. Design and installation are handled by one team, so nothing gets lost between the plan and the crew standing in your kitchen.

Sheffield Lake kitchens tend to be compact, so the countertop does a lot of the visual work in the room.

Six services we bring to Sheffield Lake homes, all planned and installed by the same team.
We handle full kitchen remodeling for Sheffield Lake homes, from the first layout drawing to the final walkthrough. That covers cabinets, countertops, lighting and the crew that fits them, all managed by one team.
Bathroom remodeling in Sheffield Lake covers vanities, storage, tile and the fittings around them. We work in the small second bathrooms these houses usually have, not just the main one.
If your Sheffield Lake layout already works, we supply and install new cabinets and leave the walls where they are. Boxes, doors, drawers, hardware and trim are all fitted by our own installers.
We template, fabricate and install granite, quartz and quartzite for Sheffield Lake kitchens and bathrooms. Sink cutouts, edge profiles and backsplash returns are part of the same job.
Laundry in Sheffield Lake is often a basement corner or a narrow closet off the kitchen. We build cabinets, a folding counter and hanging space to fit that exact footprint.
Most people here come in through the side or back door, so that is where boots and bags land. We fit benches, hooks, cubbies and closed storage to keep it contained.

Our showroom is approximately 21 miles from Sheffield Lake, about a 28 minutes drive depending on traffic and your starting point.
From Sheffield Lake, work your way to Abbe Road and head south, past the Sheffield Village side of town, to Interstate 90.
Take Interstate 90 east toward Cleveland. Stay on it through Avon and Westlake, then come off at the Columbia Road exit in North Olmsted.
Follow Columbia Road south to Lorain Road and turn east. Stay on Lorain Road through North Olmsted and into Fairview Park. Our showroom is at 19389 Lorain Rd, with parking at the building.
Lake Road, which is US 6, is where most Sheffield Lake trips start, since it runs the length of town along the water. Harris Road and Walker Road feed the streets behind the rail line across to Abbe Road, and Abbe Road is the main way south toward the highway.
At the Cleveland end there are only two names to watch for: Columbia Road and Lorain Road. Once you turn east onto Lorain Road you can stop navigating, because it runs straight to our door.
Heading out of Sheffield Lake you pass the lakefront park strip along Lake Road and the schools on Harris Road before the streets open up toward Sheffield Village.
On Interstate 90, the Crocker Park area in Westlake is a good halfway marker. After you exit at Columbia Road you come into the Great Northern shopping area in North Olmsted, and from there Lorain Road settles into the older Fairview Park stretch where our showroom sits.
Estimated travel time may vary based on traffic and your starting point.
Sheffield Lake sits in a narrow band between Lake Erie and the rail line, and the houses follow that shape. Lots are modest, a lot of homes are single story or a story and a half, and the kitchen was planned as a separate work room rather than a place where everyone ends up standing.
The same problems come up house after house. One counter run doing every job. A single bank of upper cabinets. A back door or a basement stairway landing right where you want to prep. A dining room shut off behind a wall, so the cook is on their own.
Homes closer to Lake Road also deal with damp air and swings in temperature. That is hard on thin cabinet boxes and on laminate edges that were never sealed properly. Homes on the streets south of the tracks are often a little roomier, but the layout is usually just as closed off.
We design around the room that is actually there. Radiators, soffits, ceiling height, door swings and where the basement stairs come up all get measured before anyone starts talking about door styles.
The first change is usually vertical. Running cabinets to the ceiling adds real storage in a room where the floor space is fixed, and it removes the dust shelf sitting above the old uppers.
The second is the corner. Blind corners swallow pans, mixers and everything else you only use twice a year. Drawer stacks, pull outs and a corner unit that actually reaches the back solve more storage than a bigger room would.
The third is the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. It does not always have to come out. Widening the opening often changes how the whole floor feels without touching the roof line or the footprint of the house.
Resale is worth thinking about too, because buyers compare Sheffield Lake homes against listings in Avon Lake and Sheffield Village. Solid cabinet boxes, drawers that close quietly and a stone counter are what close that gap when someone walks through.
Start with measurements. Wall lengths, ceiling height, window positions and where the appliances sit now are enough to have a useful first conversation with a designer.
Permits go through the City of Sheffield Lake when the work touches structure, electrical or plumbing. We take care of that paperwork and fit inspections around the schedule so the job does not sit still waiting.
Plan for the stretch without a working kitchen. Most people set up a temporary counter in the dining room or the basement with the microwave and the coffee maker, and keep the fridge plugged in somewhere outside the work zone.
Sequence matters as well. Cabinets go in first, then countertops are templated against the cabinets as built, then the backsplash goes on last. Knowing that order of work makes the calendar much easier to follow.

Yes, and that is a good share of the work we do there. Many Sheffield Lake kitchens are compact rooms with one short counter run and a doorway in an awkward spot. We plan storage around that footprint instead of pretending the room is bigger than it is.
Often, yes. It depends on what the wall is carrying and where the plumbing and ductwork run, so we look at it in person before promising anything. If the wall has to stay, widening the opening usually gets you most of the same feel.
You can walk in during showroom hours, Monday to Wednesday 12 to 6 pm and Thursday 12 to 8 pm. Calling (216) 353-8600 first is still worth it, because it means a designer is free when you arrive.
Yes. We template, fabricate and install granite, quartz and quartzite, and the same team that plans your kitchen sees it through the installation. You are not left coordinating separate trades yourself.
Rough measurements of the room, a few photos taken from the doorway, and any pictures of kitchens you like. Even a hand drawn sketch with wall lengths gives a designer enough to work with on the first visit.
