Our Services

Our Remodeling Services for Parma

Six services for Parma homes, all designed, supplied and installed by the same team.

Kitchen Remodeling

We handle full kitchen remodeling for Parma homes, from the first layout to the final install. That covers cabinets, countertops, lighting and the crew that fits them, all managed by one team.

Bathroom Remodeling

We remodel Parma bathrooms, including the tight upstairs baths in the older colonials around here. Vanity, storage, tile and fixtures get planned together so the room works, not just looks finished.

Cabinet Installation

If your Parma layout already works, we supply and install new cabinets and leave the walls where they are. Boxes, doors, hardware and trim are fitted by our own installers.

Countertop Installation

We template, fabricate and install granite, quartz and quartzite in Parma kitchens and bathrooms. Seams, edge profiles and sink cutouts are handled in house so the finish matches the plan.

Laundry Room Cabinets

In Parma the laundry is usually a corner of the basement or a closet off the kitchen. We fit cabinets, a folding counter and closed storage so the space stops collecting piles.

Mudroom and Entryway

Most Parma families come in through the side door or the garage, and that spot takes the winter beating. We build benches, hooks and closed cabinets so boots and coats stay out of the kitchen.

Get Directions from Parma
Main Driving Route

From the middle of Parma, take Ridge Road or State Road north to I-480 and head west. Stay on I-480 across the west side of the county, then come off at Clague Road and turn north. Clague Road brings you up to Lorain Road, where you turn east. The showroom is a short run along Lorain Road at 19389.

If you would rather stay off the highway, Ridge Road north joins Lorain Avenue, and Lorain runs west without a break until it becomes Lorain Road and reaches our door. It is slower at rush hour but simple to follow.

Major Roads and Intersections

Ridge Road and State Road are the two main north to south routes out of Parma. Snow Road and Brookpark Road cross the top of the city and both feed I-480. Broadview Road covers the east side, and W 130th Street is usually quickest for homes near the Parma Heights line. Every version of the drive finishes on Lorain Road.

Landmarks Along the Way

Heading north you pass the Shoppes at Parma at Ridge Road and Ridgewood Drive, with UH Parma Medical Center just off Powers Boulevard. If you come up State Road you go through the Ukrainian Village stretch of shops. On the Broadview side, West Creek Reservation is the green break before you reach the highway. Once you are on Lorain Road, watch for our sign at 19389 Lorain Rd.

Kitchen remodeling in Parma

What Parma kitchens are usually working with

Most Parma kitchens we walk into are their own room, closed off from the dining room by a full wall and a single doorway. The footprint is modest, the counter runs are short, and the fridge is often parked where it blocks the path to the back door. Two people cooking at once get in each other's way.

Storage is the second complaint. Upper cabinets stop short of the ceiling with a soffit above them, so the top foot of wall does nothing. Below the counter it is fixed shelves rather than drawers, which means kneeling on the floor to find a pot. Very few of these homes were built with a pantry, so dry goods end up in the basement.

Layouts vary by street. The colonials north of Snow Road tend to have a separate kitchen with a back stairway or a basement door eating into the wall space. The ranches and split levels toward Sprague and the newer streets on the south end usually have more length to work with, but they were finished with a peninsula that closes off the room.

What we change in a Parma kitchen

The changes that make the biggest difference

The soffit comes out first. Taking the cabinets up to the ceiling adds a full row of storage without touching the footprint, and it makes a small Parma kitchen read taller straight away.

Next is the wall to the dining room. In a lot of these homes it is not load bearing across its whole length, so we can open a wide pass through and keep the two rooms connected. Where the wall has to stay, we widen the doorway instead. That single change does more for how the room feels than any finish choice.

Under the counter we swap fixed shelves for deep drawers, add a pull out pantry beside the fridge, and put a corner unit that actually rotates into the dead corner. Where the room has the width, the old peninsula becomes an island with seating on one side, so the kitchen picks up a place to sit rather than losing floor space.

Then the practical items: under cabinet lighting, a fridge moved out of the walk path, and a countertop material chosen for how the family actually uses the room. Buyers in Parma look closely at kitchens, and a room that reads open and organised is the one that gets remembered.

Planning a Parma kitchen project

What to sort out before the work starts

Bring a rough measurement of the room and a photo or two when you come in. That is enough for a designer to start a real layout at the table rather than talk in general terms.

Parma reviews permits through its own building department, and anything structural, electrical or plumbing usually needs one. We help with that paperwork so it is not sitting on your kitchen counter.

Plan for how you will live through it. Most families set up a temporary spot in the basement or the garage with the microwave and the coffee maker. Clear a path from the side door to the kitchen, because that is the door the crew will use.

Decide the cabinet doors and the countertop together, in the same visit, in daylight. Photos of a green door or a busy granite slab do not tell you much. Everything is on display at our Cleveland showroom, about 20 minutes up the road, and the doors and the slabs sit in the same room so you can hold them side by side.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is your showroom from Parma?

About 10 miles and roughly 20 minutes, depending on where in Parma you start. Most people take Ridge Road or State Road north to I-480 and come off at Clague Road. We are at 19389 Lorain Rd, open Monday to Wednesday 12 to 6 pm and Thursday 12 to 8 pm.

Can you open up a closed off Parma kitchen?

In most cases yes. The wall between the kitchen and the dining room in these homes is often not carrying load across its full length, which lets us put in a wide pass through. Where it is structural, we widen the doorway and take the cabinets to the ceiling instead. A designer can tell you which applies once we measure.

Do I need a permit in Parma?

Usually, if the work touches structure, wiring or plumbing. Parma handles this through its building department. We help with the paperwork so it is not left to you.

Do you install countertops as well as cabinets?

Yes. We template, fabricate and install granite, quartz and quartzite, and the same team fits the cabinets. One point of contact from the design table through to the final trim.

Can I see the cabinet doors before deciding?

That is what the showroom is for. Doors, finishes and countertop slabs are on display and in stock, so you can hold a door against a slab in daylight before you commit to anything.

What if I want to keep my current layout?

That is fine and it is a common choice in Parma. We supply and install new cabinets and countertops in the existing footprint, and the walls stay where they are.
